P/N for 8.8 Trac Loc ?

I tried to talk to the local McDonalds rejects at my Ford Parts counter but gave up after trying to explain for 15 minutes what a Traction Loc Differential is.
I have a spare LS carrier sitting around, the part number on it is 4205-AA . I wonder if this one fits a 2000 F150 with the 8.8 open rear axle or what application it's for. Would be good to know before I dumb out the liquid gold gear oil and dig into the rear.
Thanks

Fritz

P/N on 8.8" Trac-loc (31-spline) should be: M4204F318. I could be wrong; however, I think this P/N is correct. I cannot remember the old P/N on 31-spline that had the 3/4" spider pin (which was pre-1989?).
To my knowledge, after 1989??, all 8.8" have 7/8" spider pin & different cut (pitch) of internal gear teeth. I know this is sure for 8.8" open diff.--but not fore sure if gear-cut changed on 8.8" trac-loc.
