noise
When I start out and accelerate there is a weird clanking noise on the driverside . It feels like it is under the carpet or something. You can fee it right under your feet. Could it be the struts or something
we are talking about an 1999 f-150 and there is nothing underneath that is torn, Iam not sure what the noise is?

What type of vehicle are we talking about here with "struts"? Could you describe the noise a bit further? (manual?auto?suspension sound?drivetrain sound?conditions?anything loose or torn up looking under there?)
Do you have a body lift on your truck? Check to see if the cab mount bolt is loose! It's under the carper right under your foot. this happen to me!
