Locker?

I am thinking about ordering a locker for my F-150. I was just wondering if any of you guys have a locker in yours? If so, I would love to hear what you think about it's performance. Did it make a huge difference off road? Please give me any info that you can. Thank you!

if you get a locker, i'd go with one like the ARB air locker that you can lock up or unlock from the cab...most good offroad lockers clunk and junk around turns which i dont mind in an offroad vehicle, but for my 150, which is my daily driver, i need something thats not noticeable until it counts...offroad.....those air lockers will cost more, but in my opinion for the driveability, they are way worth...i'd get one, but on my college budget, can't afford it yet...anyways, good luck

hey fellas,

i had a lock-right in my last truck and it was very streetable. i am considering one of the new soft-lockers for my truck now. i grew up with lincoln lockers in all our farm trucks and these powertrax lockers are light years ahead of them. arb's are a ton of money. i would love to have one, but can't see the cost of it, plus the sound of the compressor on the trail. i know guys that have them and love them, but they're not teachers and i am. Rich.

Smile Thanks Guys

I am looking into the Powertrax. I agree that the ARB lockers are sweet, but they are WAY more than I want to spend. I am debating on whether to order my superchip now, or the locker? I will order the locker if it is going to make a big, noticeable difference off road. I just need some assurance. Thanks

your truck will behave like a completely new animal off-road. you can go places in 2wd that will make an open 4X4 have trouble. if you seriously go in the dirt you can't beat being locked. Rich
