My daily driver (99 F150 5.4L) has the electronic shift BW4406 transfer case with issues.

I have a donor transfer case out of a 01 7700 5.4, but it has the manual / mechanical floor shifter not the motor.

If I were to rebuild the donor T-Case from the 01, is it possible to swap it into the 99 f150? I am hoping it's just a matter of unbolting floor shift linkage and bolting up the electric shift motor but am unsure.
