my f150 with 35's and no gears and no tune it took about 10 seconds to get from 70-80 mph, couldn't handle the interstate with out turning overdrive off. with a tune i was better than stock in the high rpm, low rpm still lacked. gears would have helped alot.

with my superduty and 35's, the low end is the same but it does build more boost, high end is lacking but its more than pleanty to not bother me.

i put a Banks power pack on my f150 and i noticed more power but i was never amazed with it like i was expecting to be.
Do you guys thing changing my 3.73 to a 4.56 will help get more out of the Banks system?
Also im not sure on changing the ratio if mpg takes a big hit, reguardless of power gain, gas in California is not cheap ($3.20). and i do mostly city driving.

gtdude, if you find anything that will help the mpg's on these trucks, tell the world!!! ive got k&n filter, chip, run high octane gas, low octane, fuel treatment, octane booster, 4.56 gears, etc!!!! i get the same damn mileage as i ever did!! lol im lost and about to give up, in town its 10-14 and highway 16-18, on a good day, i live in Texas so summers are usually 100-110 degrees 60% to 100% humidity, so during those months it really goes to ****!! thats y i tried custom tune but dont know if that'll work cz the ratard that did it screwed everything up, fried my transmission cz he boosted all tranny pressures and turned off torque management off, then he tells me he wasnt for sure he was doin it right!!!! thanks pal now i get to spend 6-700 on a rebuilt or replacement trans, cz gettin a lawyer to get him to pay for would end up costin 4x as much

only way to improve fuel milage is driving habits and leaving them stock.

i went form 16mpg stock to 14 with a leving kit and 35's and to 11 with 6" and 4.56s and the same 35's the more i do the worst it gets . i only did it to myself. but if i compare it to my diesel with 6" lift and 37s and 4.30s it got 13.5mpg or my jeep grand cherokee with the 318 which got 12 . they all still cost me about the same out of pocket.
