Question Slow Throttle Response

My Brother and I Have the "identicle" trucks.
Both trucks are 2000 4X4 ORP supercabs with 4.6 L.

When I drive his truck I notice the throttle responce is great!! The gas pedal is very touchie.

My truck is the complete oppesite!!

The gas pedal is very mushy! I have to push it 1/3 of the way down for the truck to move. Very annoying!!!!

Performance wise they are the same. A few drags of the lights prooved that!

Any Suggestions.

Any suggestion???

May not help but I used my hand to push my gas pedal and found about an inch of slack on the pedal before it moved the cable. I placed a nut and bolt just behind the gas pedal to take up the slack. Now you touch the pedal you get rpm change.
