well i went and had my codes read again...too lean bank 1 and bank 2, insuficient EGR flow, and cylinder 4 misfire. I hate this engine. it still runs way better than before so something was improved. i guess next is to replace the EGR valve as i just cleaned it before.

guy at auto zone said these trucks have 2 vaccum hoses that are known for failing...anyone know which 2 he would be talking about? i checked all mine but maybe not good enough..? idk

DPFE lines come to my mind. they handle hot EGR gas to a sensor (your 401 code is set by this guy)

search DPFE, its part of the EGR monitoring system, follow your EGR pipe, and you will see two rubber lines come off it and head to a sensor, this is the DPFE

He's talking about the 1/8" 4wd/ 2wd Actuator lines I bet, - Pink and Blue and their over by the battery box. That's where they break, between the battery and firewall.

and those are all good jbrew. i checked all those by the batter box and at all the connections...all seemed to be good to me.
