I Need Royal Purple 75w140 gear oil!!!

I have checked all the local part stores and none of them have royal purple 75w140! I did find some 85w140...Is this close enough?? I have an 01 Screw 5.4 with a 3.55, 9.75 rearend. I am changing out my axle seals becuase they are leaking...also what kind of RTV gasket goop does everyone use to reseal the pumpkin?

I think I found some at napa. I called and they said they had some...im going to pick it up right now. But its 17.99 there I dont think that we have O'Reilly's in utah. Guess I will just eat the extra six bucks, and its still cheaper then motorcraft.

How & why?

I just switched from Royal Purple to Red Line gear oil. Why? Because it was cheaper. But what type of "gain" am I looking forward to?
