Clicking Noise Coming from Front Differential Area?

what`s up fellows! I had to pull out our tractor the other day after I got it stuck lol!(long story) I had it in 4wd low range and when I went to pull there was a clicking sound coming from the front differential area around the driveshaft almost sounded like a gear somewhere was slipping, have any of you had this problem or heard this before?

Does it do it still? When you turn sharp?

Or did it only do it in 4LO?

when I take it out of 4wd and put it into 2wd it doesnt make any noise, but 4wd high or low makes noise when pulling something, I`ll try putting it 4wd and turning sharp (in the dirt not on the road) and see if I hear anything. thanks for the help maybe I can figure out why its doing this, one more thing when I was in 4wd lo the front tires would spin but the back tires wouldnt until I gave it more gas, does this have anything to do with the poping/clicking noise? it just seems that when I put it in 4wd all the wheels should spin at the same time.

I think your cv's are bad. Mine just started doing this last week when I was plowing snow. When your in 4 wheel all wheels do not turn. The rears will if your have posi traction. But the fronts will articulate from left to right depending on the traction load. Just like if you have on tire on grass and the other blacktop. The grass will spin.
