Front strut assembly

I know this thread has aged a bit, but I'm frustrated and nearly at my wits end. I've been looking high and low for a front strut assembly for my 2005 F 150 7700. Its a pain in the **** to find parts for my truck, but I refuse to give up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There was no 7700 series in 2005.

Heres a Picture of mine:

Attachment 27963

and some facts about the 250LD/F150 7700

- 7 Lug Rims -
- They have a larger frame then the F150
- Bigger Brakes
- 3:73 rear end from factory
- 4R100 Tranny
- Extra leaf in back
- Larger Torsion bars -
- Heavier towing capacity
- Weigh more -
- Larger rotors, I believe 13.5"
- HD shocks
- power steering cooler
- 4700 lbs rear axle
- HD rad, thicker
- HD alternator
- HD battery
- LT tires standard, load range D
- the tranny is the same as a F250 SD and the F350 SD
- 8,600 lbs towing
- 11,500 lbs GCVWR
- 7,700 lbs payload
Do you know if they make a conversation kit or if I can use the hub assembly from a 99 f250 to make my 7700 a 8 lug instead of 7 lug?

1997 F250 Light Duty 4.6L automatic. Came with 3.73 10.25 rear and 3.72 8.8 front

no, you cannot.
the 7700 option is often confused because apparently there was also a 7700 lb towing option for the actual F150.
to clear this up, look for the F250 of the same year. you'll see it has the same body style as the F150, but the mechanicals are different.

Why would you want to? Having a 7 lug rear and 5 lug front would mean you need 2 spare tires unless you hung the 7700 front end under it too.
