Popup slide in camper-who has?

I have 02 F-150 4x4 Supercab Lariat flareside with towing, FX4, 3:55 LS, 5.4, auto and 6500lb GVWR. This is a shortbed, about 6'9'' I am considering a light weight popup slide in, like the Palamino Bronco 800. I realize these are light duty trucks. Anybody have one of these popups or similar model? Anybody know how much can I carry in terms of the camper. Seems the flareside limits the weight. I've been to the Ford store, but they can't tell me what dry weight I should not exceed. Towing package includes trans cooler, bigger radiator, battery, and alternator.

Cheers,
Stevo

I had my '00 150 flareside supercab on the scale last weekend... It weighed as listed below (me standing next to the scale):

Steer Axle: 2960 lbs
Drive Axle: 2280 lbs
Trailer Axle: 00 Lbs
Gross Weight: 5240 lbs

Now, add two people to the cab let's call it 400 lbs, and you're up to 5640 easily. That would leave you with all of 860lbs of weight you could put in the bed, and only then if it doesn't put your rear axle over the GAWR. I wouldn't count on finding a truck popup that's going to be under that weight. A Sportz tent and an air mattress would be about the only other option.
