Clunk!!!!!!!!!!!
hope no one is getting tired of seeing my name on the post, but for me it was the slip-yoke. gp to the transmission section and read the clunking. $2 can of grease solved it for me. would have sworn the trans or rear end was going bad. boy was i wrong. may not be your problem, but worth the try.
yes, grease the slip yoke. remove four bolts at the rear diff that hold the driveshaft on. note they are 12mm, 12point bolts. Make sure you install the driveshaft the same position it came out. Use white teflon grease. Normal grease wil wear off quickly and the clunk will come back in a month or so.

Hey, the posted link doesn't have real complete step by step instructions, are they available somewhere? I have started to notice a clunk at about 5mph taking off from a stop. Worse when towing I believe.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks Guzman!
I see now where they are talking about taking the 4 bolts off to remove the driveshaft. Once that is removed, does the rearend yoke pull out? Is this where I need to be greasing?
Thanks again!

Thanks again!
JJ
Go to the website guzman_marcos posted. After you select your truck and you get to the driveline section it is figure 4. This is where the grease goes. It is on the end of the tranny, not at the rear diff.
Here is the pic if it's easier:
