Radio Short causes volume to go down with bumps

My audio system will go down every time I hit a bump, tap on the steering wheel, or dash, or center console. It seems to do it more when the car is cold.

i took out radio and ran an additional ground wire to the back of the fire wall from the rails chassis. It improved it some but problem persist.

Sounds like the clock spring assembly in the steering wheel.

Changing that out involves messing with the airbag. So if you aren't comfortable, take it to a pro.
