For those that have relocated the factory cd player...
The problem with the factory CD changer that I have run into is the factory CD changer does not like thumping subs. I moved my CD changer around under the seats, etc. and never could get it to quit skipping after I put the subs in my truck. I ended up gutting the factory system and starting over. Good luck finding a "sweet spot".
