I have a 95 150 that I want to upgrade the stereo system in. My question is how do you remove the factory installed speakers? My door pannels have grills on them that look like they could be popped off but I'm not sure if they actually do come off or if the door panel needs to be removed to remove and install new speakers.

If you still need an answer, here it is. The screens don't pop out. You need to remove the door panel. There are a few screws near the bottom and on the panel for the power locks and windows and one or two in the armrest. Just pop off the door panel and it's pretty straight forward after that. I still have my stocks in the doors. They arethe only ones I haven't gotten to yet. After the new 6X8s in the rear and the subs,I can't even hear the doors. I'm sure replacing them will help alot. Let me know which speakers you go with. Good luck.
