Post Electrical Connection

I'm a dummie, and I need help. I have to hardwire my CB radio to an accessory line, and I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I own a 2000 F-150 XLT. There are lots of plastic connectors under my dash, but there's nothing telling me which wire or connector to tap. HELP!

Cool

If you don't have one, buy a test light. You can get one at any automotive store. Clip the aligator clip to a ground source (metal frame piece, bolt, etc.) Start testing all the wires you are talking about under the dash with the key in the accessory position. When you find one that lights the test light, shut the key off. If the test light goes off, then you found a wire you're looking for. Trial and error, but it shouldn't take too long. There are a lot of accessory wires these days.
