Accel cop failing

Question Accel cop failing

Anyone else have problems with their Accel COPs? Three have failed in a matter of 5 months.

i have had mine for about a year now and no problems.

A little late, but...I havent heard anything good about Accel products for these trucks...a local mechanic I know wont use Accel on anything.

I TRIED to put them on my old 99 4.6 (coil packs actually, not COPs) and 2 out of 3 of them were bad.

People here seem to be having problems with their COPs though too.

Personally, I would stick with the stock Motorcraft ignition parts. These trucks are picky when it comes to ignition components.
