Garmin Navigation System

Hello. I am thinking of purchasing one of the Garmin Navigation systems. Specifically the Nuvi 760. Do any of you have an experience with the Garmin systems?

Thanks,
Chris

I don't know anything about the Garmin, but we just got a Tom-Tom and it is awesome! It is very easy to use, my technology unsavy 52 year old father can work it(he just figured out email this year). It's easy to read, clear, understandable, and just overall fantastic.

I have the Garmin 76cs and love it. It is water resistant and Mil Spec. I also have a mount for my motorcycle (XR650) and use it while exploring the local deserts and mountains.

i have used 3 different ones , the garmin, mio, and the dual, as for the 3 the mio sux, i took returned it it cost around 250. got the garmin it is very user friendly, and accurate i like 270.the best one i have used is the dual (it is made by delphi),. they also have a modle out. sears has it now for 149. with everything but bluetooth, i think. but my garmin is 1 step up from the basic model,. did not need all of the other features, the only thing i would like 2 have is the speach to text..........soo do not buy a mio, bang 4 the buck dual or delphi, pay 4 the name.:beers: garmin,

I got a Garmin Nuvi 260 from work for Christmas. It's really simple to use, and very helpful. The battery life is GREAT and it has very detailed maps. It was a great gift!

I have a Garmin C330 that my girlfriend bought for me about 200 bucks. I love it. It is real accurate and it picks up even the smallest roads that lead to no where. No Complaints here.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200, their entry level Nuvi, and it is a good GPS system. Great battery life, really easy to use, and loud enough to here over the radio and road noise. My only complaint with it is that some of the POIs are out of date and some "newer" i.e.-2-3 year old roads are not present on it but that is due more to the Navteq maps that most GPS companies use than Garmin itself.
