I have just ordered a black max for my truck via 'trukstuf.com'. I got to thinking these things are probably easily stolen, correct? Does anyone know how I can protect against this? Seems someone could just unsnap and pop the rails off? thank you much for the info!

It would be easy for somebody to unsnap the cover and walk off with it. As for stealing the frame... it would be easier for somebody to toss a rock through your window and gut your truck or steal your wheels and leave your truck sitting on the asphalt! Relax! If having the cover is going to cause you to worry that much, it probably isn't worth having.

Remember, locks are only there to keep HONEST people honest. If somebody wants it bad enough, they'll get it!

keeps every thing drie in the back is easy
to take on & off
never have had a problem with anyone trying to steal it
hell I lock the tailgate now and then
to protect things in there and feel safe
