Anyone Familiar with Lake Champlain ??
Hey,
I would like to take my wife and three boys camping and fishing near/on Lake Champlain or nearby lakes. I'm not at all familiar with the area, and I'm hoping some of my fellow F-150 owners can help. Any recommendations on campgrounds with cabins or areas where you can fish from the shore, or rent a boat. Also, I'll likely have a boat next year, so any advice regarding cabin rentals near good bass/pike fishing areas is appreciated too. Thanks !!! |

Try this for some info. Great area to try out. You can find almost anything you might want to do. We usually make a point to get up there at least once each summer. Only concern is it can get a bit expensive during peak season and you may need to make reservations well in advance. You can take I-95 north and move over to I-87 north near Albany. Very nice drive along the lake area right up to the St Lawrence. Definitely worth the trip. OOPS scratch Albany, take I-87 in White Plains area north of New York city. |
