new to the area as well. providence here! where a place we can get our rigs off the beaten path?

LariatCrew 05 04-27-2010 08:10 PM

RI Tom, which I assume your name is tom. Look's like we have just about the same truck, from what I read in your "about me". Like my info says I have a 2005 Super crew, Lariat, Toreador Red. I consider it a striped Lariat, because I don't have a sunroof, rear slider, heated seats or reverse censor. Still love it though.

As far as places to get dirty, I'm from exeter so I am farmiliar with a few spots. Stony lane will take through the woods a little bit and bring you through exeter..

Small state indeed..too small.

Hey LariatCrew 05,
Good to hear from you. I love the Lariat, black interior - center console setup. I'm curretly running 22" 40's on my truck but would like to add the 2" leveling to the front and get some 35" "off road" tires for the winter.
Be able to switch the tire sets back and forth as my previous truck was an F250 powerstroke 4" lift and 37's banks system etc- miss the off road adventrues.
Another area that I used to get dirty was near pinetop - escoheag hill rd - dirt trail/road or old voluntown rd near stepping stone falls. Western RI & Eastern CT still offer some off road fun. Take care.

Yeah I hear you, I have a 2" leveling kit, looking to upgrade to bf Goodrich all terrains at some point. I have never really been over there with my truck, but have been a couple times on my bike, I will have to keep that in mind though, thanks. Ill prob see you around, since we do live in Rhode Island...
