If they were thinking about building a Lightning again they would hold off for as long as possible so that they could charge 15 grand over the rest of the f150's. Or maybe they are waiting for the economy to pick up.

I'd expect the next SVT truck to show up in 2015 or 2016 with the new body style. Not much point in trying to do one prior to the roll out.
Rumor in the Raptor community is 2014 may be the last year for those again coinciding with the new body style.

I'm very disappointed Ford builds a gas hog raptor yet won't build a Lightning. Hopefully they do sometime

i'm waiting for the lightning to come back as well... Id like to see another... Although the second gen L will always be the best looking IMO!

if they did a regular cab short bed with the 6.2, buckets with a console shifter, and lightning badges, put it in the 35k range they would sell like hotcakes. they would profit more than with a raptor id bet too. then you get roush to do 500 or so a year with a supercharger on that 6.2.

As cool as the Lightnings were, I would still rather have a Raptor.
