Nice to hear you are happy with color. Have you looked at the Metra 2012 CES catalog under turbo kits by chance? The picture looks exactly like the Lariat down to the color and wood grain effect.
Would like to hear your comments on this. I have downloaded a copy of the photo to my desktop but do not know how to post it here.

Olbear and other interested parties
I finally figured posting photos out. Here is the Metra panel for a 2011 Lariat. Sorry, I missed the year of your Lariat Olbear which explains your color. Have contacted Metra but nothing yet as to availability. Picture looks exactly like my trim.

may I ask when you are done with this NAV/radio install... what is the difference in functionality between the maxxed out factory option install and this maxxed out after market install.
Do all the steering wheel controls work?
Wireless hands free bluetooth ok?
How is the nav GPS quality vs Ford's ?
Can you work the nav while driving, vs having to use LockPick with Fords?

Not sure yet
on how I will proceed from here. Will wait to get opening size of bezel from Metra when it is available. Then will see what fits the opening best. I am not a fan of a lot of trim pieces. Will then decide to go forward or not. Hopefully someone who has done this already will answer your questions.

When Sync is active it displays all the normal sync stuff.
Hope that helps,

here is my install of my z130bt. here is a list of my parts:
axxis xsvi-5520-nav harnesshttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0025UDZDM
antenna adapterhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002BEQNE
scosche bezelhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UCB4R0
aswc steering wheel controlshttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HM86D0
what's cool about the xsvi harnes is that it is already pre wired to plug directly into the aswc steering wheel controls
oh also i unplugged the sync controls and used the holes to wire the z130bt usb/aux cable through so it looks stock!
i'm in the process of contacting Carid.com to get them to make a vinyl wood grain to match the lariat. will have an update in a week or so!
What did I do wrong? Did I not disconnect Sync enough? I'm stumped.
I'd post some pics but I'm too noob too.

Scosche radio bezel painted
I painted my Scosche double din radio bezel with rustoleum textured black spray paint because I really didn't like the look of the flat unfinished appearance it had. It would collect fingerprints every time you touched it. I scuffed it up with a scotch 3m pad and wiped it off with a paper towel with paint thinner on it. let it dry and put 3 coats of paint on it. I think holding the can at a distance of about 2 1/2 to 3 feet gives you the best results. Give it plenty of time to dry and it actually looks factory. My pictures were taken late at night so they are not the best.
