Red face Nav Programming

I know there are several different people who can program these nav units. There is one guy on ebay that advertises but i've seen others as well. If anyone has had a nav/radio programmed by any one, please give your opinionsa on the work they did for you. i would like to find someone a littel closer to South Carolina than i have seen.

I am actually doing the same, looking for someone close to me in Massachusetts. I would rather be able to test it out on the spot just incase of any problems or issues that might arise. I have heard that some dealers can do this but I need mine to be a custom program because I have added a subwoofer and line-in tray. I think the Ford dealers just flash the radio with your original equipment and may not be able to add options? Not sure though. I have emailed 2 of my local dealers with no response yet. I did have my new cluster programmed at a local Ford dealer for only $70.
I thought about that person on ebay too but $103.00 for his programming and shipping back plus almost $30.00 for my to ship it to him, kinda $$

The nav radios are made by pioneer and have to be programmed to the particular vehicle as far as options on the vehicle. My truck is a 2006 Lariat that came with 6 disc cd, NO SUB, NO SIRIUS, does have back up beepers and steering wheel controls. I ordered a nav off of ebay but it is not programmed for a sub which i just added so i need to get the radio programmed for a sub. I got another one at a deal and it is set up for a sub but nor for steering wheel controls...duh...hope that explains our problem and need for re-programming:santa:

Sure does 'Medic2586'. Thanks.

I thought maybe they were programming in new 'additional' capabilities to the later ones and was wondering what they were. Sounds basically what the Sync Lock Pick guys are doing but adding some hardware also.

I had my Factory Nav unit programmed by Bernie's Auto in New York. This was a few years ago, but if they still do the programming their number is (516) 488-5955. I did see a thread where a member named "jayrock" wrote that his Nav was programmed by a guy named Dominick in Massachusetts, phone number 781-721-0092.

tmd07, did you write that you added the Line In tray? I purchased a tray on ebay with the Line In plug. But I see nowhere to plug it in. I also have a 2006 Lariat. Can you or anyone else let me know where to plug in the Line In tray?

Thanks
