Factory Navigation - Upgrade - SYNC -?

OK. No one has asked the question, So I will...!

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade our existing Ford Factory Navigation system to the new Sync by Microsoft...

Many of the 08's Fords are already upgraded, but none of the F-150 have the Sync software. (Until 09 but the Navigation system is totally different)

The Navigation system looks the same, so is it another module or software program...? Can ours be upgraded?

Anyone have an inside track with Ford...? Anyone

Tazz I just bought my KR last week and they told me the Sync option is not available on the F150 till 2009. They can however add the blue tooth function with caller ID. I had it on my last car and found it pretty much useless. It is nice when your alone, but if someone is with you they hear the whole conversation. It was a neat toy at first. Course I don't like to use a cell phone to begin with. I think it was around $350 for bluetooth and caller id.

The research I have done says it is a module but as of now you have to have the speaker and the mic and your NAV has to be reprogrammed to recognize Voice.

Lets see if we can come to a solution for all of us! My wife just bought an CX9 with integrated Bluetooth and it is really cool.
