I have a Kenwood DDX 7015 w sirrius in a 2004 SC and I would like to add GPS

Question,

Do I have to find the 4100 external unit that's compatible with the 7015 or can I find another GPS unit ex. TOM TOM, Garmin, that might have a video output to my video in???

Is the Kenwood that detailed compared to the RAM based TOM's etc.??

What other units might work with my 7015?

I haven't seen any of the portable external units with video out capabilities. The only one's I have experience with is the Alpine Blackbird, which I didn't like and the Garmin Nuvi 350 - which I have now and love.

 

I have the Kenwood DDX-7017 and have the KNA-G510 GPS and I love it. It uses a hard drive instead of a cd. It's actually made by GARMIN for Kenwood.

 

Same here. I snagged mine of ebay for cheap.
