Hopeing to get an ipod and the Eclipse AVN5500 for Christmas. Trying to figure out how I'll mount the ipod..

this is what i bought and it works great and i think they even have on that comes with a mic so you can use your ipod and your phone through your system. my plan is to stick a carputer in my truck with touch screen monitor in my dash and a mic with voice activated mp3/video player installed so i can just say what i want to be played. that's what i would put the money towards. just an idea

i just had my new avn6600 installed. showed my av guy your pics. he has my unit sitting out about 1/4 inch and says it's because of the kit. yor install looks flush with the dash in your pictures. what mounting kit did u use?, i got mine from crutchfield..
