Not sure, I wouldnt mind it sometime.

Do you have anymore pics of your truck though?
Id love to get a 4 inch lift and ditch this dang leveling kit, while keeping 33s so I dont have to regear.

Thanks!

I would like to get some of us together. The more the better. Going back and reading it looks like we have 3 of us in the Lincoln area, 1 in Omaha and 1 in Fremont. I'm thinking Omaha or Lincoln would be the best choices. But I'm not very familiar with Lincoln. What is everyone's idea of where to hold it?

I am familiar with Omaha and Lincoln. So where ever works for me. I say even if it is just a quick meet at a local burger joint and just kinda meet and show off what we have would work. Even just for the first meeting and then maybe we can get pics and show people and maybe then people will take it more seriously. I have another friend that would be willing to go as well he is a member on here but hardly gets on.

It really depends on the time/date if I would be there or not.
If its in Omaha, probably not. I couldnt make it around in Omaha to save my life, hell I can hardly find anything in Lincoln. Im not a city person at all I can hardly even stand Milford with 2000 people.

I think that'd be a great idea. i had a leveling kit on mine for a few months but hated it, all of my angles were bad, and i even had it custom made! ruined a ball joint in that little of time. im much happier with the suspension lift. here are a few more pics though, i hope im doin it right..

Need help in Omaha, no start

Hi guys. I have a 99 F150 that I bought used a couple weeks ago. Having a problem today with it not starting. It cranks over fast, no theft light issues, has gas at the fuel rail, but no firing. It ran fine over the past 2 weeks that I've had it, now no start. Is there anyone here in Omaha that can help me out? Thanks, Jim 880-3152

Welcome Aboard!

Not sure what it could be. Did you try posting it in the Engines section?

Thanks for the pics Noblem. Truck looks great, I almost swear Ive seen that truck running down I80 west of Lincoln a time or two.
Ill definatley have to add a 4 inch lift to the list...I just wasnt sure if it would look funny with 325/60/18s or not. I know Im going to end up destroying my front suspension or more offroading with this leveling kit.....need a real lift.

Jim, I wouldnt have minded helping you try to get your truck running since thats what I do, unfortunatly I am never in Omaha.

no problem bartak1. You may have seen me on I80, i dont travel much though but ive heard there is another one that looks exactly like mine in Lincoln somewhere. Someones copying me.. In my opinion the 325/60/18's look alright with the 4" lift just because they are wider. Most people stick with the 12.50's. The only angle i think they dont look so great is if you look straight from the side (or profile view) then they look a little small. when i burn these tires up i think i am gonna consider some 325/65/18's. Those will come out to be a 35" tall tire and try to regear it

Bartak1 or anyone else here, who do you recommend to use or stay away from for work on my truck? I never had to take my previous F150 for work at all, now I'm not even through my first tank of gas, and am having issues. Odometer going MIA daily also. Has anyone done the odometer soldering fix here? I would gladly bring you my truck if anyone could help with that. Bartak1, I would be more than willing to go to Milford if you provide other tune-up or maintenance work. PM me if this needs to be discussed privately. I posted my no-start issues in the engine section, so if you can verify or help with that in any way, I would appreciate it. thanks all, Jumpn

Where you going to plan on installing the gears yourself or have them done? I am just wondering I am very close to installing gears in my truck before I lift. I have the gears I am just trying to convince myself to spend the cash to have them installed. I have found a guy that will hook me up out at anderson ford lincoln. He is also on here so maybe we could get him to join in on the meet and greet.

Lincoln is not to bad, and if it was in Omaha you are more then welcome to meet me somewhere and you could follow me up there. I meet you right off the edge of Lincoln.

I havn't gotten that far yet. I think i have a year or so left on these tires if not more the way they are wearing. Where did you get your gears from and how much did they cost you if yo dont mind me asking? A hookup out at anderson would be sweet if it worked out, they replaced my ball joint under warranty for me and were pretty good about it

Ok, so I've been thinking about where we could meet up. And like o5_sprcrw said. Even if we just did a quick burger or something would be good. I was thinking Don & Millies on 144th and Harrison in Omaha. And the other choice is Famous Daves on 173rd and Center in Omaha. This way if you want a drink or not the choice is there. Not sure on which day yet. I'm thinking a couple weeks out at least so most everyone has a chance to check their schedules. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.
