Anybody know of anywhere to go off-roading in the madison heights area, or a decent website that I could find somewhere. With the 60+ degree weather we had this weekend, it got me in the mood to go out and have a little fun (as it's now warm enough to wash the mud off afterward). Any info would be great, also, anyone interested in makin a day out of it?

definitely interested, but like i said before, my truck is still stock, so i dont want anything to treacherous, just looking to have a little muddy fun!im over by 12 and john r, if you know anything out this way it would be great, if not, i am willing to drive within about 20-30 minutes, i just want to see what this thing has got

 

For mud, nothin' beats the Mounds up towards Flint. Not far from you.,..

There's always Silver Lake Sand Dunes over on the other side of the mitten. No mud, but still a load of fun.

I'm in! I have to grab my sportsman 4x4 500HO from my cabin at Higgins Lake. I have 27" mudders on her with a HD suspension in the front. I like taking the quad there because I have found it is cheaper to fix the four wheeler than the truck. (lots of experience with this ) I will still use the truck to get it there though. I will be up there for Memorial Day I can grab it then. If we go before that I will have to bring my girlfriends little 250. It has been about 4 years since I have been there.
