Thank you! I have been lucky enough to get my truck out and to enjoy it. weather it is going down the road listening to my sound system or off road using my 4x4

The EcoBoost surprised me. It was really quiet yet powerful. When you first start it up, you can hear the turbos spool up slightly. I wish I would have shot a video for the sound. You can hear it but it is not like some of the imports with a blow off valve so loud it hurts your ears. The truck rides smooth and you barely feel it shift. One great feature is the ability to lock in a gear and keep it there. On the shifter there is an up and down button that enables this, say for instance if you were towing up a steep grade and needed to stay in a particular gear. I did two starts with it; a rolling start from 30 mph and a 0-100 run. On the 30 mph rolling start, I depressed the accelerator and the rear wheels broke loose for a few seconds and it hooked up after that. From the standing start, it again broke loose and quickly accelerated to the century mark where it is currently governed.

If I were to buy a new F150, I would seriously consider the EcoBoost. It would be a tough call though, because I also love the Raptor SCrew. Overall, I was impressed with the engine. I think as time passes, we'll be able to get a better judge of the durability besides what Ford is claiming thus far. I think it will be a great engine for various applications.
