Thanks, I appreciate the response. I think I am moving away from K9 and still considering my options.

    Hey man,
Sorry for the delay, I have been swamped. As for the K9 alarms, I cannot offer an opinion on them as I have never had any personal experience with that brand. They may be a great unit, but without having any first hand knowledge cannot comment good or bad. I will say that its not a well known brand as some of the other more popular units. I could offer you a unit that would do all that you ask of it, but it would be on the more advanced side of the difficulty meter. Most of the units that I sell prewired are basic RS, or an alarm with a RS. If you had a little experience it would be a little easier, but the unit that you are talking about would likely be overwhelming to a beginner. I am not knocking your ability and would love to sell you a unit, but dont want you to ger frustrated and have a nightmare experience with your first install. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me either here or at studmonkey@bellsouth.net and I will be glad to help you in any way I can.

    Thanks,
    -Michael

Budha05STX told me to send you an email in response to a question I posted. He said you can pre-wire an alarm with remote start etc. The question that I originally posted was asking if k9 alarms are any good. I talked to the owner and installer of A1 Auto Alarms and Window Tint and I feel confident with him installing an alarm after talking to him but he uses K9 Mundial and Classic. I wanted to see if you can offer any opinion of the alarm. I also wanted to know what alarms you can supply and if a person with no experience can install one. My truck is a 2008 F150 I am looking for remote paging, battery backup and a siren inside the cab and still want to be able to use the key pad on the door. Any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Well let me know what you decide to get. That would be pretty cool if you had it pumped with some BANKS or other diesel tuner to make massive power.

HAHA, I am not sure what you are talking about man....

I heard you were still trying to decide what do to about a new truck. I like the F250 idea you have, but would be hard to give up the room of an extra cab. Keep me in the loop of what you decide to get and keep it between the ditches man! I am going to be out there (hopefully) in November, maybe we can get together and get to drunk to speak english, hahaha.
