    mine are actually decently bright, will i want them to light my way durning the night though, not really. just dont try to do more than one light per connection and you should be fine. The tan wire will go to the red wire on the light, and that black wire will go to your other black wire on the light. if the lights you are putting on are black and white wires, put black to black, and tan to white. It really doesn't matter because you are still making a circuit through the bulb, but it helps to understand what you have done later on throughout your mod processes.

    Thank you! I just clipped the ends off and added female butt connectors to the truck, and male butt connectors to the lights just in case i wanted to remove the lights if i sell it. it really wasn't much of an undertaking, i did need to add about a foot of wire to the originals to get to the licence plate bracket. and i just used short metal screws for the mount to the licence plate bracket. now the original fog light holes were a different story. A little bit to fab up all new brackets and mount properly so the metal wouldn't bend and bolts wouldn't show. good luck!
