I cant find the black boots that are longer. They need to be 12" at rest and most are only like 9 3/4".

By the way, what did you set your 9000's on. I would like to find a set of black boots too for the shock, cause the red really doesnt go with anything on my truck.

Yeah I ordered the Ballistic Wizards in the 20 x9 with the 00 offset. So I hope it looks good. Im kind of going for the look of Stovetops truck, but didnt want the tire sticking out as much. The rims I really wanted only came in a 20x10 with a -12 OS so they would have stuck out too far. Thanks for the help. Mark

After re-reading what you said I think you were talking about the 5.0L in trucks.... not Mustangs. I haven't drove an F150 with a 5.0L but I do have a 2012 Mustang GT with a 5.0L and it's great. Lol. The Fabtech is definitely recommended as well...... I couldn't ask for a better kit for the money.

The new 5.0 is great. I'm getting good mileage out of it when driving normal and it's quick for a car with no mods. It has LOTS of potential with just a few mods too. As for the truck I haven't put coilovers on yet but I did order some custom valved Fox 2.0 shocks for the rear and I'm hoping to get the Dirt Logic coilovers ordered within the next couple of weeks.

I think when I checked the other day im sitting at around 7-8k miles on them so far. I have not measured the tread wear but they still look new They are just starting to show a little wear on the edges.

Yeah the DSG 04 in the driveway is completely stock hieght, other than having 285/65/18 BFGs on it, instead of the stock 275/65/18 size tire.

I had rubbing issues when I added my new rims...as you saw, they're 18x10 with 4.5" backspace. They rubbed at the rear of the wheel well and a little at the front air dam (there is a picture in one of my albums showing the rub points). This is why I added the 1" Daystar leveling kit and it took care of all of my rubbing issues. I cannot say for sure if you will rub or not but if so, it is a cheap and easy fix, and hey, you'll get another 1.5" of lift! PM or email me back if you have any more questions.

Thanks for the comment on the Rancho Pic, the summer tire I am running is the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ size 305/55/20. I like the look you've got going with your truck!
