Thanks again. I did price the Gibson exhaust. Based on your description it sounds pretty good. I'm almost 41 and don't really want something crazy loud. My 15 yr old son on the other hand would probably like the real loud stuff. Now I just have to convince my wife. I do have 20" tires on this thing. For the mpg-I'll drive it sparingly until winter. I'll ride the Goldwing until I start to freeze here in Illinois. Catch ya later.

It's great to make new friends from around the country with the same interests... The Gibson exhaust has a nice mellow tone and deep rumble when starting up. When you are driving at a constant rate you will hardly hear it; there is no drone in the cab... But when you step on it you will hear it. Some people on this site say it sounds weak, I on the other hand do not... I am not 16, and I don't need my truck to sound like a dragster... It's really a personal choice...

Welcome to the site... This is the place to come for knowledge and to share information... Great looking truck... Very nice color choice... What type of exhaust are you looking for? I like the Gibson Extreme Dual exhaust system... When coupled with a good CAI and a custom tune you will see improved performance and a great sound... The Gibson is not as loud as some but there are advantages. The stainless steel unit is the way to go. It will last...
