You just need a simple floor jack and jack one side at at time to take the stress of the leaf springs. Remove bolts, then bushings, then grease the hell out of them. It shouldn't take you too long at all.
Just saw your post about not greasing your shackles...yeah, you better grease them! The poly bushings will get torn up in pretty short order if not greased. In fact, I was planning on adding a zerk fitting to my shackles just so I can keep 'em lubed.
Hey, you gotta post more pics of your trucks front end! I just saw that you added the 1.5" spacer and I gotta see what that looks like! Plus I want to see your CV angles too. Your truck looks great...glad that kit worked out for you! Now post more pics!!
Thanks man!
I love the Procomp XTreme ATs...they are a badass tire. They are super aggressive for an AT tire and have a 40k tread warranty. I bought them at the TruckFest at the SM Fairgrounds and got the 3 for 4 deal plus another huge discount. I forgot how much I paid exactly per tire, but I can tell you exactly how much I paid when I get home to look at my receipt. One thing, do you think you can fit the 325/65's on your front (they're 13.5" wide). I kinda think I should've went this route but more than one person told me I'd rub. Since you have the spacer, you may be tall enough to clear this tire. I wouldn't mind hooking up somewhere so I can see how tall your truck is with that spacer on there. I'm booked till Sept so maybe sometime then.
Hey man, names Tyler, quick question about ur truck, ur HBS kit, is ur truck 2wd or 4? Mine is 2 and im looking to do the same kit, would you go with a 2.5 or 3in kit? Thanks
