hey man I was reading through your post for putting the OEM trailer brake controll on and saw that you mentioned that the dealer had to activate it. I talked to my dealer and they said I would not have to due that. My question is "did your truck com with the factory tow package, and if so what settings did they reflash, and if you dont know could you give the name and number to the dealer you took it to?"
    thanks a lot

Could be why mine fit, I would have to check as I don't recall. The truck is in the shop for the moon roof rattling so when I get it back I will check it out. Thanks for the post, make sure to put this up in the forum underneather the correct exhaust thread (mine or yours) so it is known they do fit the 2010 with no problems.

Hey, not sure exactly how you positioned your muffler...hard to tell by the pics. When I installed mine flat, I had issues with everything matching up perfectly, especially the pipe coming off the muffler outlet. I drove around a couple of days like this and I was not satisfied I installed it correctly. I called the tech guys at Magnaflow and they said I had to turn the muffler on its side so the outlet is on the bottom. I did this and everything fit like a glove. Just FYI...I tend to be a perfectionist and cannot sleep at night unless I know it is done right. You probably have it right.

Truck is for sale at Machens still. It is still a good deal, they gave me $20,500 for it and marked it up $2500.

Just ordered 16518 this AM...paid $409.97. Good deal considering the shops were going to charge me around $700...which included install. The only negative is the shipping time...I might get it this Friday...had to ship out of CA. Can't wait to hear the new sound. Nice pics by the way!

I didn't. To be honest, I didn't even read the instructions Makes sense though, it allows the system to learn quicker I would guess. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea, especially if the instructions say so LOL

When you installed the exhaust...did you disconnect the battery? The install directions say to disconnect the battery to help with the computer recognizing the new system.
    Thanks.

Intake is cake and I would never pay someone to install one, and the exhaust kit you bought bolts in with everyday hand tools. I did mine in about 30 mintues from start to finish.
