    I have same boat and 4x4 screw F150. Thinking about adding the firestone bags. Did you notice a big difference when trailering at highway speeds? Did it firm up the ass end, feel more stable? Thx.

    I just made a thread about making the stabalizer brackets. It's a How To, and I sent Rockpick a message asking him/her to see if it can be moved to the technical articles section. Here's a link to the thread and let me know what you think! Thanks!

    No, it’s mounted to the truck. I made blocks that used the factory mounting bolts, and then attached the box to the mounting blocks.

    How did you end up mounting the box into the truck? ie mounting it to the floor, or just leave it free?

    Yes you can put someone on the seat. It is totally functional, the arm rest goes up and all. However the seat doesn’t have as much padding as the OEM.

    Thanks;
    as for the holes, I cut them out with a jig saw. the wood I used was 3/4" MDF. no sory I don't have measurements for this box, I used the jump seat as a template the whole box was built on the fly in a weekend.

    nice sub box, im glad i saw this because im about to go down that road myself. Questions: how did you cut the circular holes for the subs? And, do you have the measurements and specs on the pieces you used? What kind of wood did you use? Thanks
