well after replacing the wiper motor, relays, the switch in the column, I went to a meck, who I know and told him what I have done, he said it is the control relay on the back side of the fuse panel in the cab. I even pulled the plug on the column switch and the wipers still ran. so the only thing left is the control relay which is a dealor item only. thanks for all the help and all your posts on this, I just got unlucky and had a unusual problem...the machanic (meck) said that this is a common problem with this year truck cause the windshield will leak and short out the control relay.

    hey love the truck!!
I was just wondering, what did you do to your front end? I have a 1998 ford f150 2wd and I am going to install a 3'block in the rear, but i want to have the front end about 3" higher too, what do you suggest? I was going to do a 2" leveling kit, but i want a little higher than 2". Spindle lift? How hard would one be and how expensive? Thanks man and I love the truck again!!

    Hello madmaxwell87,

I've been having the same ghost wiper problems with my 99 F150 as described in your link

    https://www.f150online.com/forums/el...s-problem.html

I too bought and replaced a new MFS and I still have a problem I read from your comments that you were able to buy and install a new wiper motor for $26 at rockauto.

I would like to try to purchase one and see if this fixes my problem.

Would you care to share the model/part number for this wiper motor?

    Thanks for your help!

Hey Max I got a couple question's for ya. 1. when you put the springtech 5.5/3" lift kit on how hard was it? 2. whats the height from the bottom of your truck to the ground with 33's on it and can you fit 35's? and last 3. does the front sit a pinch higher than the back or does it sit level? I'm looking to buy the kit in the next 2 weeks or so. Just trying to get all the info I can get on the kit. Thanks man...
