The 2.5 is gross so i'm guessing its about 2.0 net after subs and port displacement.

Makes a lot of sense. So I can use the middle brace but would just have to cut some large holes out of it so the air can pass through? Because if that's the case then I can still use the same enclosure. So if it's 2.5 cubes with 4 8's in a single chamber, then what would you suggest for the ports? Diameter, length and how many? I really appreciate all of your help since this is my first ported enclosure.

Oh and for the lift, I just used an inch or so worth of some large washers on the bolts and put some 1" strips of wood under the metal braces which would normally sit on the floor. It's very solid and doesn't budge.

Crap!!! That means I have to build a new enclosure. Why won't two chambers work? Btw, did you have any pics of your new setup?

No I wasn't asking if you were selling any. I was just wondering how your 2 10's ported sound. I'm interested in building a forward firing enclosure and didn't know how good it would sound. Thanks

I went through your ''paint work'' album and first of all VERY CLEAN ! I was wondering if it was in a really bad shape before repainting? Was it a lot of trouble?
