Blackwood change 5 lug to 6 lug wheels

Has anyone changed their 5 lug hubs and axles to the newer 6 lug pattern? Just bought my truck and it's got Navigator 17's on it. I've seen some decent prices on used Mark LT wheels - evidently not the case for used blackwood wheels (they must have been made of Platinum)

Evidently more expensive than having custom wheels made - from what I've gathered

they make conversion adapters for this, you don't need to buy new hubs/axles

I believe its 5x135 to 6x135 is what you're looking for

Thanks Patman, that's what I ended up doing. I've always had a thing about adapters (unsafe, bearing failure, etc), but I found a great deal on a used set of Lincoln Navigator 6 lug wheels. The offset was so deep, I had to use something to space the wheels out. I noticed at a friends auto shop that a dullie uses a 4-6 inch "spacer" on the front - yeah, it's made of steel/iron, but its still a spacer. Also I talked to a few other mechanics that said no big deal and gave their reasons, The best was the guy at the alignment shop i've used for 30 yrs, said he has them on his current 4x4 and goes offroading with them. I hope I bought a good set - it's tough telling who's making the good stuff, and who's selling the chinese knock-offs!
