0-60 times? What's your's?

Hey there,
One thing I have noticed on this board since July when I got my truck and started hanging around, is that the talk is always about 1/4 et's... I hardly ever see mentioned 0-60 times. To me, that is more familliar and is a truer gauge of steet performance. I like to read car magazines and they always list 0-60. To me, on the street... most stoplight races are who can get up to 60 or so and then shutoff. It would be nice to get some input from those of you out there as to what you run 0-60. That way I can have some perspective when studying cars, so that I know if I line up against a WRX or Porsche or whatnot if I have a good chance of winning or not. From various articles I have read, the best 0-60 time I have seen for a 2002 Ford Lightning stock was 5.28... that was in the fast truck test of Truck Trend magazine.
Just so you know, I DO NOT condone stupid street racing, I am merely curious and yes, I do like to get to to the speed limit as quickly as possible!
I really am curious as to what times you modded guys out there are running, as my truck will have this stuff come spring when I pull it out of sleep... 2lb pulley, accufab tb, JDM silver bullet exhaust, JL ram air, and a JL chip.

Hey bro...I think you don't see these times because we don't have a way of recording them. Unless you have a G-tech or something. If you go to the dragway (like most people on here) they only give you 60 foot time, 330 time and so on. No readout on 0-60 as it most likely have to be recorded from on board the vehicle. Anyone out there with a G-tech or similar device...please share, I'm sure a bunch of us would like to know were we stand!

g-tech gave me a 5.4 0-60 on my way to a 15 second 1/4, heh. So I don't really think the 1/4 mile is all that acurate but the 5.4 sounds good to me, check sig for mods.

Not trying to stir the pot, but I hooked a G-Tech up to my Syclone a few times. Stock engine w/ bolt-ons, on the stock Firehawk tires, on a less-than-perfect backroad -- 3.64 seconds.:D

Now I have a built motor, tranny, and FOUR BFG Drag Radials. See-Ya...

5.26 in perfect weather @ 2200' elev and very good asphalt. Very abrasive, but offered the most grip I've ever driven in the rain and went through a set of F1's in 14k with no burnouts. Just miles and miles of corners.
Thats with a '00 L - stock
