New Hoosier Quick Time Pro's Are Ready!!!

Hey,

Got my new Drag Tires from Hoosier late last night, thanks to the UPS man. :rocker:

They look really nice... Anybody else get any yet? (p.s. not talking about tail, tires...lol)

Pretty nice, huh???

it is about time they released them

Fast Gator Nov 23, 2002 09:05 AM

Nice!
You ordered them from the factory, and bypassed the distributor?
How does that work?
:rocker:

Other than width, any idea of the difference between these and their other QT Pro's?

Hopefully, you will be trying these out soon and letting us know how they hook.
I have been waiting for these to improve on my 1.63 60's i get with my et streets:cool:

Thanks guys, they do look sweeeet!!

Hey Dan,

sssshhh!!!!...what nitrous..lol Going to CC tomorrow and check it out, been to busy since we met at the track last.

ib fast,

I'd settle for those 60' times consistently..Hopefully the new Hoosiers will have as good 60' times as your ET streets or better. Just wanted to use some tires to keep the stock 3.73 gear ratio ..

Probably be 2 - 3 weeks before I can try them out at my local track... Got a lot going on the next several weeks with turkey day, PRI (Indianapolis), some out of town business trips also. I wish I could try them out, Maybe somebody else can try them soon and let us know how well they hook up..

The other QT Pro's are 28x14.50-16, they are pretty wide. These should work better with a 10" rim.

Hey Fast Gator,
The factory guys give you retail pricing, I can't go into detail on here of how I got some so quick...Lets just say I had a good friend who helped me get some so fast and at a fair price(maybe the first set made..:D). Hoosier tire guys are a great bunch of folks, they listen to the race folks. No matter how big $$$ or small of a racer you are.

I'm pretty sure Razors Edge, JL or JDM can get you a set quickly...

Thanks Hoosier... :rocker:

Damn I wish I could go to the track sooner...:(

WEEEEEEEEEE

I just ordered my set.

The 28x14.5-16's are getting a drill bit through the side. I won't subject any of my friends to those tires.

Since I bought 3 sets of hoosiers this year, sold one allready. My distributor is giving me a awesome deal.

I love the search button.

Any word on the these tires fellas>??? I will be buying tires soon and these look interesting. How much did you guys that already bought them pay>??? Thanks for the info. -Mat-

Tundra Feb 5, 2003 01:54 AM

DOT legal? We've got a new class up here and all tires must be street legal.

NCETRY Feb 5, 2003 02:20 AM

Yeah Tundra the QT pro's are DOT legal. I plan to run them this summer. Just make sure you get a 10 inch wide rim to run them. It will help with the contact patch with the wider rim.

On Hoosier's website the recommended rim width is 8-10" with 8 being in BOLD print. I think that would mean you get the best results with an 8" wide rim. I could be wrong though. So what are the thoughts of the people that have them already>??? -Mat-

i BOUGHT THE 26/9.5/16 QT PROS last year they did but up my rear axle ratio a bit going 26" but I think I ran out of tire since I only have an 8" patch, thats the only 16" tire they sold and I didn't want to work the calipers for 15" even with only 8" they BITE like a bitch, but I'm going to the next step and I think these guys will be to small for me.;)
