Affordable HID's!!!

If you've been wanting to convert to HID, but couldn't justify $800, how does $579 sound for Sylvania? It's a blow-out sale! I even saw a discounted price on 2 for $1079, go in with a friend, and pay $535 each, I wish I did.
This is for low beam, and Sylvania includes a pair of SilverStar halogen 9005 hi beams in the kit for free.
Disclaimer: please verify all this for youselves, I'm new to lighting.

Payback, now we're even, (till my next project).

Please don't tell me you can get it cheaper elsewhere:

What does HID stand for anyway??

I think it's High I-something Discharge, but maybe not. I'm pretty sure the D is for Discharge, the rest is questionable.

$579 for a set of headlights?

I am in the wrong business...

While 579 for a set is pretty high, its about 130 over priced just because of the extra headlamps you are buying that are included in that kit.

There are currently 2 other kits on the market that replace the 9007 bulb with a HID bulb and full mounting kit with generators. I have one on the way for my truck, and will be installed after the SEMA events.

Our factory headlamps are sufficient enough to house a new HID bulb kit easily.

Hope that helps out some.

Are you sure that our headlight reflectors are designed properly to reflect the light? In most cases they are not.

Thats the only question I have left , I'll find out after SEMA when we install them on 2 different lightnings and 1 regular f150 for fitment tests.

I'll keep you guys posted :)
