Those Rollin' on 22's.. questions..
I got some engine mods, so im not classified as stock, but how bad will the larger wheels (diameter + weight) effect overall handeling, performance, and braking??
Guess the gas milage suffers, but it can't get much worse then now, so who cares, lol! And i guess another question would be, what size rubber?? 305? Thanks guys! :) |
You would actually get better gas milage wouldn't you?...

If you were to go with a 305 your speedo would have to be recal. I have 295/30/22, and I am a 1/2 bigger over all, than a stock tire. I feel my truck hooks up better with these wheels. It would just fry the 18's. I went 13.66 on 20's with 2.0 60ft. STOCK. I never got a chance to compare 20's to 22's with my mods.

Dunlop 285-30-22 on mine , just a little bigger than stock.
The speedo shows 1 mile more than with stock wheels. Handeling is much better and the looks 2 ! Gas milage about the same , maybe a little more now ! :) |

gas mileage is same, handling is a LOT better, and traction is so so.
