Things are getting better (bluelightning)

Hi, Fellows

Believe it or not I' am finally getting arounf to doing things during the daylight hours. This morning my Doctor came in and had a talk with me and my family on what the future has in store, and I don't think it is going to be that big of a deal.
It was the first time I have ever been in a wheel chair, trying to swing the wheels was a excrucating (painful) proceedure in moved the chair 2 inches before my dad grabbed the handles and said lets go for a stroll. This rehabilitation therapy thing is not going to be easy. We went outside to discover it was a nice moderate fall day and my dad and I talked of the future and as we always did we differed on priorities. I NEED A REPLACEMENT LIGHTNING ASAP. That is when he critisized me for sending my brother to metro ford to put a deposit on a 03 Lightning. So enough of that nonsence.
And now the rest of the story.
On Tuesday my family and lawyer got together with my doctor to discuss the future and power of attorny crap, and what has became of it is my step palace has been sold as of friday and I have been onformed that I' am being moved home until further notice. Believe it or not I'am not mad about this. As it sits for now I' am one hurting unit and getting better, I miss my pet dog (my sheltie), Want the hell out of this hospital, and love my C.D.P.D internet on my Laptop.

List of Mods
- 13 inch incision up back.(will heel)
- New wheels
- Need to build main floor house
- Replacement Lightning on the way
- e-mail me at bluelightning@lightningowner.com to give me something to do.

HAVE A GREAT DAY GUYS

Glad to hear things are looking up for you. Hope your recovery goes well. Hang in there, it will be long and hard, but your attitude makes all the difference in the world. It seems like you have a great attitude, especially if you are looking for a replacement L already!!

Thumbs up

Hey, Good to hear you are getting better. I can only imagine how bad you must feel since I broke my leg last month and now how much that hurts. Just keep your head up and look on the bright side of things. The best of luck to you in the future and keep us posted. -Mat-

Pat,

Glad to see you have a postive attitude. It will help during your rehab recovery.

Although we are not with you physically, we are in spirit and prayer.

Respectfully,

Robert

Update

It is about 1:30 am right now and I can't sleep the nurses wake you every hour and a half to see if I'am still ticking and I'am ticked off
I would like to take this oppertunity to thank all of you for the nice things said on the forum and the e-mails. It was a hectic day the doctor said about another 3 weeks of this hospital crap, I think I' am expierenceing the onset of depression for the first time of my life. The only thing that works on my who;e body is my arms and anything above the waist, bladder control is gone for life, leg use is gone for life(legs are just along for the ride)
Well keep in touch with me guys i like to here from you all.

Pat

Mr. bluelightning,

You make me feel like an 8 year old little girl, you're one strong SOB and that's a fact in my book.

At 26 years old and with your life in front of you, you have this incredibility strong if not Herculean outlook…….there’s something inside of you that can’t be measured from your posts.

Just incredible?

I’m sure that you will somehow unbeknownst to me; grow from this event and even possibly surprise even yourself.

I truly wish you the best in and of your life.
