I can't stand it when....
 

Someone in another Lightning sees you on the hwy and tries to pick a race with you..I just got off the hwy and some guy in a 2001/02 L kept flying up on my bumper. saw him dipping in between traffic to catch up with me. I figured he would catch up just so we can admire each other's truck or flag me off an exit so we can chat..That would have been cool but no this guy kept nudging up on my back bumper and pulling on the side of me jumping the truck forward and slowing down...Now it's rush hour 5 o'clock traffic and this guy is acting like a fool...I personally don't like attacking other Lightnings on the road unless it's in good and fun on the track..

Sorry guys just had to vent a little..Has this type of thing ever happened to you guys when you encounter other L's on the road?

Good thing I wasnt the one he pulled up next to... I woulda smoked his @$$!!!! and I wouldnt have thought twice about it... unless there was a big amount of traffic...:D

Thats the thing Blown, There was a lot of traffic...I knew I had the power to probably outrun him but my crappy lowering suspension wouldn't be able to touch him through the curves..

I've given up HWY racing anyway..It's not safe!...Too many hazards... Cops, innocent drivers, ME..

Can you believe I got pulled over once doing 125mph??

Luckily the cop who pulled me over was a guy I grew up with in the neighborhood.. I learned my lesson after that:eek:

If there was alot of traffic I would have just givin him the pipes and just went on my way.

Me and my buddy just drove up to Deleware from West Virginia. The whole time we were gone i didn't see one other Lightning. On the way home, about halfway i said it was crazy that i didn't run into a fellow Lightning brother and what appears in my rearview a black Lightning. The guy pulled up next to me we gave each other the thumbsup we ran with each other for a while ,then he pulled up and going 85 or so he handed my buddy his e-mail address out the window! It was cool to see 2 Lightnings together rolling passing everyone.Since i've had the Lightning he was only the 2nd one i have ever saw, the other was NozeBleedSpeed in Charlotte N.C after the Winston race.Both those guys were cool as hell!That would suck to have some jerkoff roll up and want to run you!CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!:D

I'm glad you use your brain.. cant race in traffic.. I have had that happen to me with other cars . I will race any time but not in traffic.. that insane...

Lol. That guy has some guts to hang out the window doin 85 to hand another guy a piece of paper.
