reburn with 2lb'er?

Is a reburn necessary when adding a 2lb pulley? i already have a single program chip, and don't want to pay $125 for a reburn if its not necessary. 2lbs isn't that much boost, my boost is +2 or -2 with the weather anyways. the tuner is always going to "reccommend" a reburn, just want to know what you guys think.

I have heard that you can run a 2#er without having to add a chip because the factory tune is very rich,,, but if you are already running a chip, your tune is leaner than stock and adding a pulley may lean it out too much... but this is only a guess since I have neither a pulley or a chip!

JDM. you get a couple free reburns, if you buy their products, which is understandable, but i dont feel like spending $500 for a pulley

If you already have a chip burned for no added boost, you will deffinitly need a reburn when you add more boost.

What 01Lightning said is right on the money. You would be way too lean if you add any more boost to a truck tuned for no added boost!!

Get a reburn before you add a pulley!!!!!!

JDM reburns are only $75, not $125

thanks for the replies guys, reburn it is. i thought that jdm bumped their reburns up to $125? my mistake. ill probably just wait till spring, i'm saving for jdm's headers so maybe they'll reburn for pulley free when i buy headers.
struckby99, you ran 12.64 with a 3lb'er? thats great, hope my truck runs that good.
