I have read a LOT of very good info (through SEARCH, thank you) on installing aftermarket gauges. One additional question: pretty much everyone is in agreement to tap into the cup holder light. Where/how are you guys tapping into this wire? I assume there is an easy way to get to it.

I tapped into a wire at the headlight switch. There are 2 plugs in the back of the switch. The smaller of the 2 has 4 wires i believe. if you tap into the top wire, i beleive its blue, this is the dimming wire. Check it with a multimeter just to make sure.

Just make sure you check it with the meter. it goes from about 12 volts down to something like 2 volts. i dont want you to use the wrong one just because i guessed. i forgot to take a pic of this part :-)
