f1's at the strip

I am going racing at the strip. but I have a bit bald f1,s on and can't afford new one's before the 19th . I know they are kind of crappy on the street the way they are, but I was wondering if they will be just as bad on a nice surface at stanton or OK? anyone with a little experience on this one? I just want to know what to expect or should I at least buy two new ones for the rear.:(

How in the hell do some of you guys get such GOOD 60 ft times on the F1's:confused: My f1's have probley half tread and the best i can get with them is a 1.97 60ft. Do you run them at 30lbs at teh track i have tried backing them down to 28 lbs and no help from what i seen. Is there a secret ?

I have run a couple high 1.8 60's by running 25lbs in the F1's and they haven't even heard of VHT at the track where I run. Let out some more air and I bet you they hook better.:D

your help is greatly appreciated , I was actually starting to worry about it and not want to go. I was afraid I would sit and spin! So it sounds like I will still have fun.
mine are a hair worse than yours Rob.
