I'm an UNCLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So saturday morning on my way home from st. louis I got a call around 12:00 in the morning and my sister was in labor. So I drove all the way home in the pouring rain to go see my sister's new baby.

Its a totally different feeling holding a baby thats your sister's then say someone whos not related to you. Its weird and exciting all at once. He is the cutest baby too, 8 pounds 10 onuces and he's really strong!!! He grabbed onto my finger and started to squeeze and I couldn't beleive how strong he was. He just kinda looked at me and smiled and started to almost giggle a bit. I can see now why some guys just get rid of there trucks when they have kids cause I can see the kids being more fun then any truck or car out there, but then again I've always liked kids and got along with them great.

Well I just wanted to share that with you guys cause this is a first for me and hopefully I'll get to bring little TY out to the track with me to show him all about motorsports.

Now I got to get that simpson racing baby seat so I can drive with him in my truck in style. :D

Congrats Joe.

You don't have to give up the toys for kids, just get new toys (family vehicle). ;) In my short experience w/parenthood (7 months now) if you start them off early the track can be your best friend. Veronica sleeps the majority of the time when we go out racing.

ill tell you first hand.......YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET RID OF TOYS FOR KIDS!!....in most cases, you get to buy more. the week my daughter was born i bought my 66' mustang. then befor she was a year old, i got my lightning. plus, now you get to go shopping for power-wheels. (you have a reason to ride them around the store to check for duribility and not just for crashing into the Barbie display ;) )

to those of you who want to have kids, it will be the best day of your life.

congrats Joey!! i hope you live close enough to see him grow up. something new happens every day.

Hell yeah I'm a big kid and I love to F around!!!

My dad even told me that I was the funnest kid out of the family cause I love to play and mess around and I guess thats what kinda makes me want kids.

I was holding him and my girlfriend and future wife was next to me and I told her I wanted one of these and she looked at me and said, UHHHH NOOOOOO!!!!!! And then I said like in 5 years or so. And her face had the biggest sign of relief on it. It didn't help that my sister told her it was the most horrible pain she's ever felt in her life, but kristen will change once we get to take the baby out for a cruise. Babies are chick magnets!!!!!!!!!! to bad I'm taken though.

As for being there when he's growing up, I got that covered big time.

My siter and brother inlaw just bought a new house and they just sold there old house so until they get the new house built there going to have to move back in with me and my mom. No big deal cause we have plenty of room but I can just hear the baby crying now and I don't think I'm going to like that part of the gig! HAHAHAHHAHHA.

Congratulations, I bet it will be a blast around your house for a while. My oldest cousin had the first baby of the family for all the grandkids, and my grandparents just love the baby. They come down and everyone goes out to eat and its just great. My dad tells us that in his business, he used to not like waiting on little kids, but after he had us, his entire point of view changed and the loves to wait on them.

Congrats Uncle Joe,

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SELL YOUR LIGHTNING, just make sure the Mrs has a family car, thats all. My son just turned 8, I've been raising him since 8 months with NO MOTHER (they still haven't found the X's body parts  ) We've had (3) 5.0's, (2) Big Block Chevelle's, a Monte S/S, A Nova S/S, A Cobra Convertible, and now a Lightning. And thats just since he's been born.

THEY ARE SPECIAL, CONGRADULATIONS

Grats, Uncle Joey ... Uncles are the greatest assets
a kid can have ... "Uncle Joey lets me drive his "L" at WOT,
why can't I do that to yours, Daddy?"
